Salary: $19.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Shift, Overtime, Morning
Work setting: Child care centre and Day care centre or nursery school
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety:Â Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, demonstrate reliability, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, engage in storytelling, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote development
- The candidates should be able to assist in keeping records, engage children in activities like storytelling, songs, and crafts, and prepare snacks
- The candidates should be able to arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, submit written observations on children, and discuss progress and problems at staff meetings
