Our hotels are conveniently located in the center of historic Dawson City, just a short walk from the Yukon River and the town’s attractions, restaurants and shops. We offer 46 comfortably appointed guest rooms, including 10 spacious suites. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Safe Food Handling certificate, Emergency First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, maintain tight deadlines, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong and also a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also take initiative
- The candidate should be dependable, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, prepare and cook meals or specialty foods and also prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff, supervise cooks and other kitchen staff and also train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- The candidate should be able to create new recipes, requisition food and kitchen supplies and also plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
