Salary: $20.00 to $29.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Hope, BC
Shifts: Day, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and establish guidelines for behaviour
The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors and attend staff meetings to discuss the progress and problems of children
The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
