Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a three year degree in Business and Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have at least eight years of experience in IT, including Business Analysis, Project Management, Salesforce Administration, and Salesforce Development
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to translate complex business processes into technical requirements
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess at least two of the three required Salesforce certifications System Administrator Certification, Platform App Builder Certification and Platform Developer Certification
- The candidates should consider Platform Developer II Certification and/or JavaScript Developer I Certification
- The candidates should have a combination at least three (3) years specifically in Salesforce Development and Administration
- The candidates should have in-depth knowledge of standard Salesforce capabilities and demonstrate experience expanding on those capabilities through custom code Apex) and integration with external systems
- The candidates should have a strong reporting background using standard reporting tools, including standard Salesforce reporting functionality
- The candidates should have experience with Lightning Web Component development and re-engineering experience in updating existing Salesforce configurations to enhance reporting, workflows, and system functionality
- The candidates should have experience in planning and implementing system upgrades and customizations, experience in documenting CRM policies and procedures and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent client service skills and experience in the Higher Education industry
- The candidates should have experience using Salesforce Education Cloud and experience using Education Data Architecture (EDA)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work with internal clients to gather requirements and implement configuration and code changes and define workflow and approval processes and implement custom objects
- The candidates should be able to document system configurations and administrative processes, maintain and optimize the Salesforce platform proactively and provide technical advice, orientation, training, guidance, and direction to administrative and academic clients, end users, and delegated Salesforce system administrators
- The candidates should be able to leverage strong client service, business analysis, planning, research, and technical skills to support system administration
- The candidates should be able to conduct research and develop training manuals and best practices for Salesforce administration
- The candidates should be able to monitor Salesforce releases and features and make recommendations to the Salesforce architect and management team for implementation
