Salary: $216,833 to $400,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Private practice

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong attention to detail, and be prepared for repetitive tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be highly organized and known for their reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures, and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health
  • The candidates should be able to prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculate and vaccinate patients, and advise patients on healthcare
  • The candidates should be able to report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities, communicate health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention to patients, and perform a patient advocacy role
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate or manage primary patient care, provide acute care management, and provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
