Type of crops: Artisanal crops, Asparagus, Bell peppers, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflowers, Cucumbers, Field berries, Garlic, Melons, Onions , Soybeans, Strawberries, Sweet corn, Tomatoes, Zucchinis
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Lift truck, Loader, Planting equipment, Tractor
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work at wet/damp, outdoors, dusty, and cold/refrigerated area, dry pea and bean farming, fruit and vegetable combination farming, and other vegetables and melon farming (except potato)
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail, and should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do cleaning crop, grading, and hand harvesting vegetables
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to do weeding, fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
