Blue House Organics Inc. based in Pemberton, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Vegetable farm worker. Blue House Organics Inc. produces the world’s healthiest vegetables. Thus we are committed to growing vegetables only in ideal soils, with the freshest water and the highest standard of professional care. We want our plants to grow nutritiously and perfectly. We offer a unique farm stay (agro-tourism accommodation) for guests who are looking to experience a deeper connection to their food, the people who grow it, and the nature surrounding it. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.05 to $18.05 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Pemberton, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do cleaning crops, hand harvesting vegetables, harvesting seedlings
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
