Oodle Noodle based in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Food service supervisor. Oodle Noodle has been all flavour, and just the right amount of weird since opening in 2005. Our award-winning menu boasts flavours from 8 different countries. To keep it extra local, though, we produce all of our own noodles and sauces right here in Edmonton at Sonny’s factory. We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. This position of Food service supervisor is approved by LMIA.

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime and Morning
Work setting: Restaurant

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, maintain tight deadlines, walk, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
  • The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client and also in a flexible environment
  • The candidate should be reliable
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres, establish work schedules and also prepare and submit reports
  • The candidate should be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food and also train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • The candidate should be able to ensure food service and quality control, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage and also estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  • The candidate should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidate should be able to prepare budget and cost estimates and also prepare food order summaries for chef
