Indian Garden Farms based in Hebbville, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Fruit Farm Labourer. Working for years, Indian Garden Farms is a well-known farm producing and supplying strawberries. Our company is known to pick the best berries. We are known to quality strawberries at regular prices. We invite people at our farm to purchase strawberries and also give an option for delivery. We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skills shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. This position of Fruit Farm Labourer is approved by LMIA.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, also training will be provided to the candidates
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically demanding
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be a combination of standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidate should be able to fertilize and spray crops
- The candidate should be able to harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidate should be able to pick row and orchard crops
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties
- The candidate should be able to perform general labouring duties
- The candidate should be able to load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
- The candidate should be able to clean work area
