Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available

Work setting: Urban area, Community service organization
Supervision: More than 20 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail, MS Office
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check, Driver’s validity licence check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be experienced in crime prevention

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong focus on client satisfaction and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should excel in both oral and written communication and be flexible in their approach to tasks
  • The candidates should demonstrate initiative in their work and exercise sound judgment in decision-making
  • The candidates should be effective team players, contributing positively to collaborative efforts, and be known for their accuracy in tasks
  • The candidates should exhibit interpersonal awareness in various situations, uphold values and ethics in their professional conduct, and be highly organized in managing tasks and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to supervise activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses
  • The candidates should be able to assist offenders in pre-release and release planning and maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research
  • The candidates should be able to accompany clients to appointments and social outings, advise and counsel inmates regarding their problems, and perform administrative tasks
