Salary: $20.00 hourly  40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 10600 8th St, Dawson Creek, BC V1G 3R3
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On Call, Morning
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests and assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should be able to provide general information about points of interest in the area, investigate and resolve complaints and claims
  • The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • The candidates should be able to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments, clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
