Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Punjabi
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently when necessary, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks as part of their job responsibilities, able to handle heavy loads as required by the position, and physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
• The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of their work, be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their job requirements, and able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as needed, comfortable with sitting for extended periods during the workday, able to stand for extended periods during the workday, walk as necessary for job duties, and lift weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their job requirements

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and make beds and change sheets
• The candidates should be able to distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• The candidates should be able to clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities
• The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens
• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
