Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities, showcasing flexibility in adapting to various situations
  • The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties and commitments and function effectively as team players, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department, plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, and supervise staff to ensure safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • The candidates should be capable of supervising maintenance and repair services, coordinating maintenance and repair services, and conducting performance evaluations and appraisals for housekeeping staff
  • The candidates should be responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, scheduling and assigning duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and responding to complaints of guests
