Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Type of industry experience: Food
Area of specialization: Human resources
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, database software, electronic mail, internet, and automatic data processing (ADP)
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs, as well as advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement policies and procedures, train, direct, and motivate staff, and mediate labor disputes and grievances
  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales, and administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs, manage training and development strategies, and oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • The candidates should be able to oversee the development of communication strategies, the preparation of reports, and advise senior management
  • The candidates should be able to respond to employee questions and complaints, hire, train, and supervise staff, and organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, recruit and hire staff, and coach
  • The candidates should be able to conduct performance reviews and propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures
