Pro Vita Care Management provides contract care services for a variety of health environments spanning Independent Living to Complex Care. Our mission is to uphold the highest standards of quality at the greatest economical value in the provision of Care Services for the benefit of our clients and customers. We provide a range of disciplines in health care, from Director of Care; Registered Nurses (R.N), Licensed Practical Nurses (L.P.N); to certified resident care aides, certified recreation staff and rehab assistants. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Geriatrics
Credentials: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records, Tuberculosis test

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medication and observe and document therapeutic effects
- The candidates should be able to take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing, ensure infection control, monitore nutritional intake and conduct specimen collection
- The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
- The candidates should be able to provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
- The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
