Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or educational equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have twelve (12) months heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with a good driving record
- The candidates should be able to obtain air brake certification as required
- The candidates should possess strong customer service skills
- The candidates should possess multitasking skill efficiently
- The candidates should possess organizational skills, especially when on the road
- The candidates should have the ability to demonstrate analytically
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities and/or perform pickup and delivery of large skidded freight and/or multiple piece skidded shipments in a safe and responsible manner and with a sense of urgency
- The candidates should be able to operate regularly the power material handling equipment for proper loading, weight balancing, and sequencing of unit loading devices
- The candidates should be able to effectively communicate between hub, station facility management, and dispatch
- The candidates should be able to be receptive and adaptable to change
