Salary: $25.00 hourly for 150 to 200 hours per month + 5% commission per sale Minimum wage is guaranteed

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Japanese
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure while being comfortable standing for extended periods

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, supervise staff, and train them
  • The candidates should be able to determine the type of services to be offered, implement operational procedures, and balance cash while completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, organize and maintain inventory, and monitor revenues while modifying procedures and prices to ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and develop, implement, and analyze budgets while participating in marketing plans and implementation
  • The candidates should be able to set staff work schedules, monitor staff performance, and lead and instruct individuals while addressing customers’ complaints or concerns and providing customer service
  • The candidates should be able to recruit, train, and supervise staff, manage events, and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
