Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 25 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Brampton, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Hindi
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience, and Medical office management/administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and demonstrate attention to detail in their work
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as part of their duties

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication abilities
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules and be organized in their work methods
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their responsibilities and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues
  • The candidates should display maturity in handling various situations and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people courteously, direct them to contacts or service areas as needed, and obtain/process information required for efficient customer service
  • The candidates should be able to record, relay information accurately, schedule, and confirm appointments efficiently, and receive/issue payments accurately and securely
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting, distributing mail effectively, and answer telephone calls promptly, relay messages accurately, and identify terminology used in a specific field of activity to facilitate communication and understanding
