Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have holders of a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Word and Accounting software
Credentials: Canadian Payroll Association’s(CPA)  payroll compliance practitioner (PCP)
Security and safety: Bondable

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to ensure accuracy in their work, communicate excellently orally, and maintain an organized work style
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate reliability in their work and collaborate effectively as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans, and store, update, and retrieve financial data
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems, prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements, and prepare monthly statements
  • The candidates should be able to complete and submit documentation for the administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance, inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, and compile statistics and reports
  • The candidates should be able to maintain payroll, maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems, and perform data entry
