Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Candidates should have typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience

  • The candidates should have completed registration to sell investment products, as appropriate for the jurisdiction (Canada only)
  • The candidates should possess appropriate lending qualifications and designations
  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions

  • The candidates should have experience in financial services is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying their needs and providing financial advice and guidance in their best interests
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate within the branch and with BMO partners to ensure a desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives
  • The candidates should be able to proactively engage with existing customers and prospects, conducting needs-based assessments to enhance loyalty and identify opportunities
  • The candidates should be able to engage customers in needs assessments, recommending tailored financial solutions addressing both sales and service needs, such as everyday banking, retail investments, lending solutions, home financing, and small business solutions
  • The candidates should be able to advise clients on available digital and self-serve banking options to make banking easy, simple, and fast
  • The candidates should be able to support customer transactions based on traffic and engage in business development activities to grow BMO’s business within the community
  • The candidates should be able to address questions and resolve issues raised through consumer credit audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • The candidates should be able to apply the risk management framework to protect the Bank’s assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio
  • The candidates should be able to make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions, including home financing, in accordance with sound credit principles and the Bank’s policies
