Salary: $23.00 to $23.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 35 hours per week

Location: Mount Forest, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding work, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to exercise good judgment, be reliable, work as a team player, and be patient

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, and perform other duties related to personal care, and serve meal trays and feed patients
  • The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients, and make beds and maintain patients’ rooms, and supervise patients’ exercise routines
  • The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and groom patients, and transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher, and answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
