Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have previous dishwashing experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks, be animated and know how to make things fun for everyone, lift 50 lbs and stand on their feet for 8 hours
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean pots, dishes, and glassware with great care to meet provincial health standards, sweep the kitchen and storage areas on an ongoing basis
- The candidates should be able to maintain cleanliness in the entire kitchen, ensure daily and weekly cleaning checklists are completed
- The candidates should be able to remove garbage nightly to the designated location, assist kitchen and service personnel during busy times
- The candidates should be able to record all breakages and state reasons for breakage, minimize waste of food, materials, and chemicals whenever possible
- The candidates should be able to maintain a clean appearance, dress appropriately, and uphold good personal hygiene
