Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience working with industrial maintenance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to sit, stand, crouch, or walk for 8 hours per day and work at heights
  • The candidates should be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor inclement weather conditions
  • The candidates should demonstrate computer literacy, including the ability to enter work orders and utilize a computerized PM system

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess general mechanical aptitude and exhibit strong organizational skills and work ethic
  • The candidates should have experience operating production manufacturing equipment, prior tool and die experience and demonstrate general electrical knowledge aptitude

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to respond to critical machine maintenance issues while minimizing production interruptions
  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate and current machine and repair records
  • The candidates should be able to make, repair, and modify custom-made, prototype, or special tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges using various metals, alloys, and plastics requiring precise dimensions
  • The candidates should be able to perform routine building and equipment maintenance tasks and implement lean manufacturing and safety initiatives effectively
  • The candidates should be able to complete the installation of new equipment and provide training for associated processes
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot equipment and processes and provide practical solutions
  • The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
