Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide professional high-quality support to CIBC business owners and the extended proposal development teams that could include representatives across the organization. They will liaise and interact with internal stakeholders and suppliers as part of the daily management of their portfolio
  • The candidates should be able to interact on a regular basis with roles in the line of business up to the Senior Management level, for purposes of fulfilling those clients sourcing and contracting needs with suppliers. They will work closely with suppliers when implementing a sourcing strategy and work towards finalizing a sourcing deal with the supplier under a contract
  • The candidates should be able to lead negotiation strategy alignment and contract negotiations, as well as secure authorizations for agreement execution
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that business stakeholders and their partners in Procurement are equipped with accurate and timely information to make informed decisions
  • The candidates should be able to manage and execute on end-to-end sourcing opportunities, as required, to drive cost savings and process efficiencies; and demonstrate strong contract negotiation experience
  • The candidates should be able to execute and implement sourcing initiatives within the relevant expenditure categories. This role is within the Canadian Wealth, Commercial Banking & Infrastructure Procurement Team, and will focus on a broad range of spend categories
