Savoia Chair Frames Ltd based in North York, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Purchasing agent. Savoia Chair Frames Ltd shows of French reproduction furniture, english reproduction furniture, chair frames and Italian hand made furniture. Our products include office chairs, beds, sofas , stools, wooden tiles, etc. Our products are hand crafted items which made of pure wood and have excellent finish. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. We hire foreign workers to fill labor or skill shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. This position of the Purchasing agent is approved by LMIA.

Supervision: Candidates should be able to supervise 1 to 2 people
Security and Safety: Bond needed

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates need experience of 5 years or more
Computer and Technology Knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of MS Word, electronic mail and MS Outlook

  • The candidate should be able to invite tenders
  • The candidate should be able to consult with suppliers
  • The candidate should be able to hire, train and supervise staff
  • The candidate should be able to review quotations
  • The candidate should be able to determine contract terms and conditions
  • The candidate should be able to award contracts or recommend contract awards
  • The candidate should be able to establish delivery schedules
  • The candidate should be able to monitor progress of delivery schedules
  • The candidate should be able to contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
