Quality assurance technologist
Ontario Collision Centre based in Scarborough, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Quality assurance technologist. Ontario Collision Centre is a privately-owned company, who operate many Collision Reporting Centres and is the creator of a Microsoft Award Winning Collision Records Management Solution. Collision statistics were preserved for all stakeholders, and a proven solution for alternative collision reporting was established. Our founder worked with the Ministry of Transportation, police, and insurers to come up with a solution which was a centralized facility to report collisions to both the police and insurance, assisted by customer service personnel. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Willing to relocate
Security and safety: Basic security clearance
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of C++, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail and also maintain tight deadlines
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also take initiative
- The candidate should be a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs, develop and carry out work study, develop and carry out health, safety and fire prevention plans, develop computer applications for machines and processes and also develop manufacturing and processing procedures
- The candidate should be able to conduct work measurement or other studies and also conduct safety training programs
- The candidate should be able to collect and compile operational or experimental data and also collect and analyze data and samples
- The candidate should be able to design plant layouts and production facilities, assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports, read blueprints and drawings and also set machine or equipment controls, oversee production and inspect processes
