Salary: $56,500 annually for 35 hours per week

Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
Work setting: General law practice and property and real estate law

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Correspondence, real estate, management, and law
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, electronic mail, MS Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 
Security and safety: Bondable, enhanced reliability security clearance, criminal record check, driver’s validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and capable of handling tasks under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be able to manage a large caseload effectively

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction
  • The candidates should exhibit dependability in their performance and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their duties and be team players, fostering collaboration and cooperation
  • The candidates should possess the ability to multitask effectively

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, maintain a filing system, and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information, prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, and review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
  • The candidates should be able to perform basic bookkeeping tasks and use real estate software packages
