Walk-in Chiropractic based in Windsor, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Receptionist With some duties as a chiropractic assistant. Walk-in Chiropractic is offering patients top collaborative paramedical healthcare. We take the guesswork out of getting better. Our experienced team of compassionate practitioners co-treat and communicate with doctors and specialists to let our patients focus on getting well. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: 1608 Tecumseh rd west, Windsor, ON N9B 1T8
Shifts
: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic scheduler, Electronic mail, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public, obtain and process information required to provide services
  • The candidates should be able to operate switchboard or telephone system, record and relay information, schedule and confirm appointments, send invoices
  • The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, receive and issue payments, perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, calculate billing charges, monitor mobile radio or telephone, provide directory assistance
  • The candidates should be able to connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractor, assist chiropractor with patient health education
