Salary: $27.50 to $28.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat and Safety glasses/goggles
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be attentive to detail and adept at hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be capable of handling a large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work and dependable in handling responsibilities
- The candidates should be capable of exercising good judgment
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered and mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel
- The candidates should be able to set tiles in place, apply pressure to affix them to the base, and align and straighten tiles
- The candidates should be able to cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools and instruct apprentices
- The candidates should be able to pack grout into joints between tiles, remove excess grout, and remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- The candidates should be able to supervise other workers and cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
- The candidates should be able to mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces and install tile strips
