Education:Â Candidates should have a college diploma or a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a college diploma and two (2) years of experience or a high school diploma and four (4) years of experience
Security Requirements: Candidates must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to work twelve (12) hour shifts on a rotational basis

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to monitor/administer activities in support of access controls
- The candidates should be able to monitor and respond to emergency/safety situations to ensure the protection of life, facility, and property by maintaining an acceptable level of order, control, and safety
- The candidates should be able to ensure the protection of CSIS property and the personal property of employees and visitors by conducting safety and security patrols
- The candidates should be able to respond, assist, and monitor all activities related to an evacuation of the complex
- The candidates should be able to, in cooperation with team members, train and mentor new officers to the team
- The candidates should be able to prepare shift, incident, and monthly statistical reports related to all safety and security activities
- The candidates should be able to conduct random security searches and report anomalies
- The candidates should be able to respond to internal and public telephone lines, National Service Call Center queries, and maintain a local call log
