Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Equipment operation, Rural area
Type of product: Coniferous trees, Deciduous trees, Ornamental trees and shrubs.
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Irrigation pumps and equipment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors and at heights, handle wet or damp working conditions, and work in hot environments
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required, walk as part of their duties, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to show reliability in completing tasks
- The candidates should be able to work well as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform tying tasks, engage in weeding activities, and assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
- The candidates should be able to mix and prepare soils, transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings, and report signs of insect or disease damage
- The candidates should be able to dig up wrapping root balls of trees and shrubs, water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
