Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Emergency room
Credentials: Acute care nursing Certificate, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, and Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Vulnerable sector check

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions accurately and comprehensively
• The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions based on their needs and conditions
• The candidates should be able to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
• The candidates should be able to conduct disease screening to identify potential health issues and risks in patients
• The candidates should be able to deliver immunization programs to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and protect public health
• The candidates should be able to dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• The candidates should be able to operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment used in patient care to ensure proper functioning and patient comfort
• The candidates should be able to provide nursing care with compassion, professionalism, and adherence to best practices and ethical standards
