Supervision: Cook (general)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Cuisine specialties: French
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work while efficiently handling tasks in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be dependable, reliable, and flexible in adapting to changing circumstances while maintaining organization in their work methods
  • The candidates should demonstrate initiative in identifying and addressing tasks and challenges, exhibiting effective time management skills, and collaborating effectively with others

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special meals for patients as instructed
  • The candidates should be able to accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances and inspect kitchens and food service areas for compliance
  • The candidates should maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, as well as clean the kitchen and work areas
