THE GREEK CORNER based in Surrey, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Restaurant manager. THE GREEK CORNER offers a delectable menu featuring traditional Greek dishes that transport diners to the sunny shores of the Mediterranean. From mouthwatering gyros and savory souvlaki to fresh Greek salads and baklava that melts in your mouth, our restaurant delivers a taste of Greece that’s second to none. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $27.50 hourly 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, organized, and flexible
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • The candidates should be able to develop, implement and analyze budgets, provide customer service
  • The candidates should be able to participate in marketing plans and implementation
  • The candidates should be able to set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, recruit, train and supervise staff
