Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems
- The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise and assist in the display of merchandise
- The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce is part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should be able to greet customers, discussing the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services, and maintaining sales records for inventory control are crucial tasks
- The candidates should be able to prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, as well as preparing sales, rental, or leasing contracts and accepting various forms of payment, are key aspects of their role
