Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Charlottetown, PE
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: In shop and On-site customer service

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Women’s clothing, Children’s clothing, and Men’s clothing 
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, while also being skilled at completing repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of handling weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), demonstrating versatility and physical capability

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate adaptability, be energetic, and exhibit flexibility and organizational abilities
  • The candidates should be goal-oriented, outgoing, and possess excellent time management skills and dependability
  • The candidates should be team players with excellent oral communication, embodying a dynamic and cooperative approach to their work

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, providing advice about merchandise and assisting in the display of merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers, discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, maintain sales records for inventory control, and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
  • The candidates should be able to prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment, ensuring smooth transactions and customer satisfaction
