Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 16 to 24 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 334 Sovereign Road London, ON N6M 1A8
Shifts: 09:00 to 17:30
Work setting: Sporting goods store, In shop
Type of product: Sports equipment and clothing

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should have attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate adaptability, maintain a positive attitude, and be quick learners
  • The candidates should exhibit dependability, display flexibility, and be organized
  • The candidates should be reliable, team players, and have excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should possess the ability to multitask, prioritize punctuality, and show maturity while upholding honesty

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate the cash register efficiently, provide advice about merchandise knowledgeably, and assist in the display of merchandise effectively
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers warmly and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease meticulously
  • The candidates should be able to prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts accurately and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment securely while also being able to operate and maintain firearms responsibly
