Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend
Work setting: Urban area, Willing to relocate, Convenience store and Retail business
Supervision: 5 to 10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed College/CEGEP or have equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 year to less than 3 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system, Word processing software, Database software, Electronic mail, Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Outlook

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate efficiency and be hardworking
  • The candidates should possess integrity and maintain a positive attitude
  • The candidates should have strong time management skills and client focus
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be organized
  • The candidates should be team players with the ability to multitask

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage staff, assign duties, and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • The candidates should be able to study market research and trends, determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors’ operations on sales
  • The candidates should be able to determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credit policies, and locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement marketing strategies, plan budgets, and monitor revenues and expenses
  • The candidates should be able to determine staffing requirements, supervise office and volunteer staff, and conduct performance reviews
  • The candidates should be able to resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
