Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as High School diploma or GED
Experience: Candidates should have previous sales experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to stand and/or walk for the full shift and able to bend at the waist with some twisting, for up to one hour of the workday
  • The candidates should have the ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to overhead, and/or 60 pounds from ground to waist level, such as assisting in stocking/maintaining inventory levels
  • The candidates should be capable of pushing and pulling with arms up to a force of 128 pounds, for example, utilizing a hand truck
  • The candidates should be prepared to climb a ladder and/or stool, kneel, or crouch to store or retrieve materials and/or place or remove signs
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a desire for meeting and exceeding customer expectations on every visit and be capable of writing routine reports and speaking effectively before customers and employees
  • The candidates should demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment to ensure the store is always customer-ready
  • The candidates should possess the ability to ensure proper food preparation and presentation, including making one of our customer-favorites… coffee!
  • The candidates should have the ability to understand and follow applicable laws and requirements relating to food safety
  • The candidates should demonstrate sales and customer service skills and should have the ability to perform basic computer skills
  • The candidates should have the ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • The candidates should possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • The candidates should be able to exercise sound judgment and work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide prompt, courteous customer service by discovering guests’ needs
  • The candidates should be able to ring up all sales on the cash register or point-of-sale equipment properly and accurately, using suggestive selling techniques
  • The candidates should be able to maintain ethical integrity and honesty while handling money, checks, and other types of payment received for products sold
  • The candidates should be able to follow policies and procedures established to prevent loss of cash and merchandise due to actions by employees, vendors, and customers. They should ensure proper cash handling procedures and policies are followed
  • The candidates should be able to safeguard cash and merchandise and follow company robbery prevention and reaction procedures as provided in the Emergency Response and Reporting Procedures and Policy Manual
  • The candidates should be able to perform duties necessary to maintain internal and external store cleanliness, including basic upkeep to ensure that floors, windows, restrooms, food preparation areas, shelves, and counters stay clean and presentable at all times
