Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should demonstrate experience in Business Banking or Commercial Banking in credit structuring, cash management

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to build, develop, and lead a team of Relationship Managers, Business Advisors, and/or Associate Business Advisors to meet the business needs of high complexity business clients
  • The candidates should be able to drive growth by providing advice/services on a broad range of business products
  • The candidates should be able to be accountable for growing the portfolio of business banking clients by proactively developing new business, credit, and cash management opportunities in the community, including end-to-end credit management, to meet/exceed the portfolio financial plan
  • The candidates should be able to utilize their understanding of what is important to business clients and ensure the provision of advice and appropriate products and solutions to meet clients’ goals
  • The candidates should be able to build a capable and motivated team through proactive talent management, creating a positive work environment, ensuring effective operations, processes, controls, and compliance
  • The candidates should be able to promote CIBC to build a strong reputation in the market, resulting in superior client experiences and growth that exceeds peers
  • The candidates should be able to provide active leadership and hands-on coaching to a team of Relationship Managers, Business Advisors, and/or Associate Business Advisors in executing and managing client relationships, including the delivery of credit and cash management services

  • The candidates should be able to act as a point of escalation to resolve any client and credit issues with internal partners, as appropriate
