Requirements:

Experience: Candidates should have 5+ years integrated marketing, advertising, digital marketing, and ecommerce

  • The candidates should possess excellent proofreading skills required to ensure accuracy and approval of creative and media plans, agency statements of work, and understand written directions from managers
  • The candidates should have the ability to prepare executive summaries, business plans, insights, and strategies up to executive level, as well as oversee playbooks and plans to field ops, brief agencies, and cross-functional teams
  • The candidates should have basic mathematical skills required for data analysis, project, and budget tracking and should demonstrate proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, file sharing, media platforms, CMS, Magento Ecommerce, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The candidates should ensure understanding of customers and potential customers through ongoing data and insight mining using internal and industry data
  • The candidates should bring innovative and relevant channels and campaigns to meet business objectives and decisions are regularly required in creating and developing campaigns, supporting content, and managing direct reports and budgets
  • The candidates should have Problem-solving skills to support direct reports and cross-functional stakeholders to address key business objectives, operational challenges, and ad hoc urgent issues as required
  • The candidates should have experience in retail, QSR, CPG, and/or Franchise and/or DSD organization preferred and demonstrate proficiency and demonstrated results with developing successful integrated campaigns, media and digital campaigns, ecommerce performance, and analytics
  • The candidates should be able to create structure and process where it currently does not exist, demonstrating strong entrepreneurial acumen and should be able to quickly assess an opportunity with incomplete data, frame a strategy, business case, and action plan, and then drive a team to execute in the market
  • The candidates should have the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results and should be capable of balancing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines effectively and should have the ability to lead and influence others
  • The candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations with executives and should demonstrate the ability to solve problems both independently and as part of a team through a structured approach
  • The candidates should exhibit personal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true teamwork, and a sense of humor and should have a self-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead the external communications team responsible for media, digital and social advertising, PR & influencer campaigns, instore communications, and ecommerce channels
  • The candidates should be able to influence and execute strategy for media, digital, social, ecommerce, PR, influencer, and instore communications
  • The candidates should be able to influence/collaborate with brand and agency teams to ensure appropriate content to support effective communication and conversion by media channel and specs
  • The candidates should be able to lead the media integration strategy and planning to achieve effective targeting and retention of existing customers and to attract new customers
  • The candidates should be able to lead the campaign integration planning to ensure effective and appropriate communication by campaign
  • The candidates should be able to lead the effectiveness and development of owned, earned, and paid channel content, ultimately leading to recommend/referral
  • The candidates should be able to lead the ecommerce platform communication to drive sales and orders – including delivery platforms, Speakout wireless, and social commerce
  • The candidates should be able to lead and share AAR results, including insights and pivots on a timely and continual cadence
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders on Team Canada and US marketing/digital teams
  • The candidates should be able to plan, recommend, and manage budget spend of the group within approved levels
