Domino’s Pizza based in Nanaimo, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Shift manager – fast food restaurant. Domino’s Pizza is a well-known pizza chain offering a wide variety of delicious pizzas and other menu items. Specializing in freshly made pizzas with a selection of toppings, crusts, and sauces, Domino’s Pizza provides customers with the option to customize their orders according to their preferences. Work setting: Food service establishment
Supervision: Food service counter attendants and food preparers, staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work effectively in hot environments
  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during their duties
  • The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods as needed for their role

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks, possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various situations
  • The candidates should be team players, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to estimate and order ingredients and supplies, ensure food service and quality control, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare and submit reports, and establish work schedules
