Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Degree in Business with a concentration in accounting
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be willing to accept day travel occasionally and willing to accept overnight travel occasionally
- The candidates should acknowledge the requirement for heavy lifting (20 lbs maximum weight)
- The candidates should have the ability to think critically and strong abilities in managing time and tasks
- The candidates should be capable of working independently and exhibit professionalism in their work

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform audit work representing the Department of Finance in an assigned taxation region, interacting with the public, the business community, and registered sellers
- The candidates should be able to examine and analyze financial records of individuals and business firms to ensure compliance with provincial tax laws and regulations
- The candidates should be able to perform audit procedures, compile working papers, and prepare reports
- The candidates should be able to assess the ability of taxpayers to pay assessments and recommend corrective actions based on audit findings
- The candidates should be able to provide educational services to the public regarding provincial tax laws
- The candidates should be able to monitor their workload to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- The candidates should be able to conduct fieldwork as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities and perform other related duties
