Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years of supply chain operations experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have 1+ years of Excel or Tableau experience, including data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables
  • The candidates should possess 1+ years of employee and performance management experience
  • The candidates should have 3+ years of supply chain experience and possess 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • The candidates should have experience with supplier or vendor relationship management, as well as experience in procurement
  • The candidates should have experience in Coupa or other financial management/procurement software

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide procurement operations support for the fulfillment center in partnership with the Procurement Operations Manager, including: forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction, and expediting support
  • The candidates should be able to lead a team of non-inventory receivers to ensure the building has adequate resources and is set up for success and able to develop deep knowledge of non-inventory items and align with like buildings to drive best practices
  • The candidates should be able to manage KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes, including the creation of recurring metrics reports to drive improvements for the Operations network
  • The candidates should be able to develop relationships across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented and able to use input from the category team to build the category metrics model to track and monitor performance in relationship to the category strategy
  • The candidates should be able to align with internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and develop methods of measuring and defining savings, value, and other category metrics
  • The candidates should be able to measure actual vs. planned savings; as savings trends are identified, own action plans to meet goals and develop solutions
  • The candidates should be able to work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to develop innovative solutions to provide Procurement support to the Operations network and able to develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement on behalf of Amazon
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate the demand identification, procurement, and inventory management of all non-merchandise items required for building operation. This includes corrugate, packing materials, labor, and janitorial services
  • The candidates should be able to partner with the Category team to manage and maintain supplier scorecards and able to partner with AP, Suppliers, and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues
  • The candidates should be able to support the procurement operations and category management teams and able to work in a warehouse environment that requires frequent walking around the building and feel comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures, as many buildings have dock doors that open throughout shifts
