Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions, work in noisy environments, and should be able to work outdoors
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and be capable of handling heavy loads
- They should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and have attention to detail
- The candidates should have sound discrimination skills and be able to stand for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, and operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- They should be able to level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications, and impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- The candidates should be able to install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
- They should be able to waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, and repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
