Brooks Trucking based in Calgary, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Transportation logistics coordinator. Brooks Trucking provides a wide range of transportation services to meet the needs of its customers, including full truckload, LTL (less than truckload), and intermodal services. Our company operates a large fleet of well-maintained and modern trucks and trailers, which are equipped with the latest technology to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized, flexible, reliable
  • The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and procedures, prepare and submit reports, resolve work related problems
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, perform routine clerical duties, monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, perform general office duties, schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to  keep track of shipments, knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
  • The candidates should be able to organize warehouse and work areas, provide customer service
