Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – GREEN JOB
Location: Penticton, BC
Shifts: 30.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Various locations, Commercial, Residential, Construction site
Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed for the role
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads as part of their duties and work effectively under pressure

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • The candidates should be able to measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
