Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Post-secondary diploma in business, accounting and commerce
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be legally entitled to work in Canada and provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- The candidates should be available to work on-site with standard working hours from 7:30am to 3:30pm
- The candidates should have the ability to work in a team environment and ability to multi-task in a busy working environment

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle essential bank reconciliation functions crucial to the continuation of the Province’s financial cycles and administer the Province’s cheque replacement process
- The candidates should be able to manage fraud prevention and detection processes and manage the stop payment process
- The candidates should be able to oversee the reissuance of prior year’s redeposited cheques
- The candidates should be able to produce the daily and monthly bank reconciliation for various provincial bank accounts
- The candidates should be able to act as backup for the Bank Reconciliation Accountant and report directly to the Manager, Bank Reconciliation
