Salary: $16.50 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 37.5 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments, perform repetitive tasks, and have manual dexterity
- The candidates should have strong hand-eye coordination, be able to stand for extended periods, and have strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, work in a fast-paced environment, and be prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should be capable of weight handling and be able to handle up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills and be flexible
- The candidates should be reliable and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills, measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- The candidates should be able to feed and unload processing machines, check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
