Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 7 months to 1 year
Type of Materials: Copper and copper alloys, Stainless steel, Steel, iron and heavy metals
Welding Techniques: Resistance, spot or seam, Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Welding plastic, Brazing and soldering, Laser
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
Brazing machine, Gas welding machine, Spot welding machine
Area of Specialization: Truck repair, Machinery or equipment repair, Pressure vessels, Cast iron and other metals
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads and pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically demanding and stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have an efficient interpersonal skills and work in a flexible environment
- The candidate should be able to work in an organized way and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to interpret welding process specifications also operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- The candidate should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes also examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- The candidate should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment also operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- The candidate should be able to fit, braze and torch-straighten metal also determine weldability of materials
- The candidate should be able to operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products also maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
